Presently working on the following topics: Economics of land use and settlement dynamics; nature conservation and biodiversity; collective financing of renewable energies; post-growth society; author and co-editor (together with Angelika Zahrnt) of “Postwachstumsgesellschaft. Konzepte für die Zukunft” (Post-growth society. Concepts for the future), Metropolis, Marburg 2010, and of «Tätigsein in der Postwachstumsgesellschaft» (Meaningful activities in the post-growth society), Metropolis Marburg 2019 (English translation in 2021)
