Paribesh Pradhan

Paribesh is a geographer and water resources specialist with over 7 years of work experience in international environmental development.

He has worked in Nepal, Thailand, and Switzerland for organizations including the Mountain Forum Secretariat, the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD), the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) on mountain development, climate change and adaptation issues. Currently he is involved with a Swiss start-up called ClimateRe where he is helping them develop proposals to address climate issues.

 

Paribesh has an MAS in Sustainable Water Resources from ETH and M.Sc. in Physical Geography with minor in Glaciology from University of Zurich. His bachelors was in Electronics and Communication Engineering.

 

He is an avid trekker, loves mountain biking and also a photography enthusiast.
